Everything you need to know about our Security Policy

Security

My Life Publications takes the security of our members very seriously. To promote security, My Life Publications uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for secure data transfer. We currently employ 128/256 Bit Strong SSL Encryption provided by GoDaddy Security Services.

Your information is stored on My Life Publications servers located in the United States. We use numerous procedural and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss or theft as well as unauthorized access and disclosure to protect your privacy. Resources that we employ to protect your privacy and personal information include: encryption, "firewalls" and SSL technology. Additionally, our servers are maintained at a secure co-location facility to ensure greater protection of your personal information.

We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by users inside and outside the company. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.

Beware of "Phishing"
My Life Publications never asks for your private information such as your My Life Publications account password, billing information or credit card in an email or on the phone. If you receive an email or phone call requesting you provide personal account information such as your password or billing information, do not respond! My Life Publications will NEVER solicit your account information in an email or on the phone.

These attempts are from hackers in what is known as "phishing." Phishing attacks typically use 'spoofed' emails and fraudulent websites designed to fool recipients into divulging personal financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames and passwords, social security numbers, etc. Phishers work by hijacking the trusted brands of well-known banks, online retailers and credit card companies. If you are contacted by ANYONE asking you to provide My Life Publications account information, or have received suspicious email, please contact My Life Publications immediately.
